Founded in 1971, the Wessex Academy is renowned for its family atmosphere and excellent academic results. Tuition in small classes ensures individual attention.
Set in its own private gardens, the school is situated midway between Poole and Bournemouth. Host families are in walking distance or require a short bus ride (summer only).
General English, Examination courses and long term courses run throughout the year for adult students aged 17 and over. During June, July and August Summer Courses are available and our junior programme PISCES for students aged between 12 and 17 operates during July and August.
Accredited by the British Council and a member of English UK the school also prepares students for Cambridge ESOL Examinations.
